Bryce Canyon NP, Utah

A relatively small national park, Bryce Canyon NP in southern Utah is incredibly colorful and unique.  My first visit to the park was in the summer of 1989.  I returned to the park in January of 2004 to find the park in a blanket of snow.  The trails were too slippery for hiking inside the formations, but the snow provided contrast that is not available at other times of the year.
